FAQs

How much does it cost to attend the Catholic Art Festival? Free. There is no cost to attend the Catholic Art Festival. Please come and view the incredible art, which will be sold be the individual artists. And if you have money you want to give us, we're more than happy to accept a donation.

Is the festival "kid friendly?" Yes! We will have arts and crafts at the Kid's Corner tent, voting for the Teen Art Contest, yard games in the field, and food and drink.

Is the festival handicap accessable? Yes, the festival will be held outside at Epiphany's parish field, weather permitting. There are three steps to get to the main entrance to the field, but we will also have an accessable side entrance for wheel chairs, strollers, etc.

In the event of inclement weather, we will have the festival in Epiphany's gym. The artists and food will be accessable on the main floor, but some other activites may be held in the up stairs hall.

Is the festival only for Catholics?

Not at all.

Part of our mission is to bring people together to admire the beauty that God inspires. In the same way that people of any or no religious background can enjoy seeing Michelangelo's Pieta or reading J. R. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, we hope the art at the festival inspires a large audience.

Do you only feature "Catholic art"? The festival features art by Catholic artists, but not all of it is explicitly religious. We promote artists producing sacred liturgical art, devotional art, and secular art infused with an incarnational worldview. This worldview holds that the God who created the world loves us, became a man in order to save us, and is constantly working in the world to draw us back to Himself. Seen through this lens, all creation is good and points us back to God. Catholic art aspires to point us there as well.

Where should I park for the festival? Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church has limited parking available in the church parking lot. Beyond that there is street parking available throughout the neighborhood.

What if it rains? If it rains, we still hold the festival, however we'll move it indoors, to Epiphany's gym across the street from the field. We'll make the announcement a day or two before the festival of any weather-related changes.

How can artists get involved? Local Catholic visual artists who like to be artist vendors can fill out an application before July 27th, 2024. The application requires 3 artwork samples, which will be reviewed by an independent jury.

For details see, the Artist Application.
